  3. GRAPHICS - how do they get it to look like that?

Want to add a few simple buttons, arrows or colored lines to your site? This resource offers free graphics available for the choosing:

(Copyrighted clipart and other images should not be published on the Web without the express written consent of the owner. Read the disclaimer and restrictions at http://www.clipartconnection.com/mainframe.php3?page=copyright.php3)

  4. How do I get my site listed?

Web site promotion involves, not only getting listed in the top search engines, but also announcing the Web site's existence to the "real" world. One way to make people outside of the Internet aware of your Web site and its benefits is to send press releases to the PR community. Press releases offer the media an opportunity to learn about your Web site or news item.

An informative publicity primer is located at http://lamar.colostate.edu/~hallahan/hpubty.htm which describes how to write a press release, content to consider, and ways to attract attention.

  5. Geez, I never thought of that!

RibMan: The Comic Site That Bites http://www.ribman.net

The RibMan web site features RibMan comic strips, the recipes, RibMan's barbecue advice and more. The strips are Sunday-style full color cartoons that lampoon the superhero genre. This highly original humor site has been the recipient of dozens of awards for both design and content.

Rich Davis, co-author of the RibMan comic strip and nationally recognized barbecue expert, is available for interviews. The copyrighted recipes, comic strips and artwork from the Web site are available for publication and re-production with the authors' permission.

Summer is here, and RibMan is armed with recipes you won't soon forget!
